The transformation of the shopper-merchant relationship has been profound during the current health crisis. Purchasing behaviors have been strongly impacted and merchants have reinvented, for many of them, the way they welcome their customers.

The "web - instore" channel has been working at full speed on the drive and collection concepts. The point of sale has been transformed into a formidable service point capable of combining multiple transaction scenarios. It was very interesting to hear many testimonies from retail managers, point of sale managers, underlining their pleasure to have had the feeling that the "sales, advice, service" functions were very precious and very visible to the customers. A reaffirmation of the meaning of the mission of the point of sale. A reminder that it is necessary for all.

The issue of digitalization of points of sale is no longer in the future but in the present. The question of reinforcing the "service" function of the point of sale, of an even stronger shopper relationship, of the lever that the store constitutes to better promote on the WEB, ... are the questions that we deal with in this newsletter.
